Via di città ends in the piazza della Posterla – the ''Quattro Cantoni'' – where a column marks the Terziere di Città.
Piazza Postierla
Until a few years ago there was a sixteenth-century marble she-wolf on top of the column, a symbol of the Terzo, now in the Magazzini del Sale – the Salt Bunkers. The bronze fountain, topped by an eagle, is one of those where local children were baptised – ''battesimo di Contrada''.

Facing onto the square is the Palazzo Borghesi with rich decoration by Domenico Beccafumi on its façade. Also on this piazza is the Chigi Piccolomini Palazzo, and the Palazzo dei Capitani.
